The Charlotte Ann Porter Prize for Fiction: An annual $1000 prize awarded in December to the best short story published in any of that year’s four issues of The Lemonwood Quarterly. All prose fiction selected for The Lemonwood Quarterly is automatically considered for the Charlotte Ann Porter Prize for Fiction. We are looking for exquisite writing that reflects the magazine’s mission.

The Hononegah Mack Prize for the Best Play: An annual $500 award to the best dramatic piece published in any of that year’s issues of The Lemonwood Quarterly. All of the playscripts published in The Lemonwood Quarterly throughout the year are considered for the Hononegah Mack Prize. Our judges consider excellent, well-crafted plays that adhere to the mission of the magazine.
